Familiar objects

I’ve mentioned that being at the cottage feels more like home to me than any other place my parents have lived. I love the memories we have created here, the softness of the green couch (best place in the world for naps), the various jars of sea glass tucked away in the corners, and the view of the water that greets me each morning.

I also feel at home when I spy the pieces of decor that have been placeholders around the cottage for years. Seeing them reminds me of my roots and the beauty of familiar objects.
